Camp Gaianet at Gathering of Tribes (September 2022)

Camp Gaianet: “A spiritual fuel station - providing nectar for the soul”
When a team of five Gaians set out to host a camp at the Gathering of Tribes, it was clear we wanted to create something special. We wanted to create MAGIC. Focusing on true nourishment of the individuals, intimate connection, slowing down, having fun, creating a place to come home to - a place to meet our Soul Family. We intended this camp to be a reflection of the energy that Gaianet brings: with lots of S P A C E for feminine energy, the unfolding mystery, emergence, and speaking and leading from the heart. We like to call these Soul Spaces - a safe space where the soul can be heard and COME TO LIFE.
Because we understand: regeneration of the planet starts with REGENERATION OF THE HUMAN BEING, which we support through creating loving integration spaces, a spiritual fuel station supplying nectar for the soul.
And it has been nothing less than that.
But it didn’t happen overnight….
For weeks leading up to the camp, we gathered for weekly zoom-meetings, to support the process of co-creation, tune in to the vibe and vision for the camp, and invite camp members to take ownership of a part of the experience. It was a big test of trust that the right people would feel the call to show up, and contribute. One month before the gathering we only had 5 confirmations, in other words: we didn’t know what budget we would be working with, and for how many people to arrange the camp. Basically, we were swimming in an ocean of uncertainty. But we had faith. And we had fun … Good old fun: where would we be without you on this journey? In the end, we are all part of the Divine Play in this cosmic theater.
Eventually, way beyond our expectations, 36 (!) fellow Gaians showed up. With everybody contributing, we were able to co-create an amazing camp infrastructure, which included a fully equipped kitchen, chill area, solar powered fridge and sound systems and a warm, dry, cozy event space (AKA the Space Ship) with colourful carpets, cushions, and spacy lights.
This Sacred Space Ship - the Lotus Mahal - took us to many dimensions. An assembly of adept facilitators guided us through the most fun, liberating, humane, connecting and meaningful experiences. Some examples:
Morning ceremonies - facilitating intimate connection among the camp members
Cacao Ceremony with Dark Feminine dance - sinking deeper into connection and intimacy, creating a love temple
Playfight - learning to bring ourselves in connection in a playful and physical way
Rituals honouring Gaia - recognizing that we are here together because of our mother Gaia
Ecstatic Dance - sharing the magic and celebration vibes with the wider gathering
Mycelium Activation - facilitating the connective tissue for golden connections
The Mycelium Activation was a powerful experiment, bringing together 46 participants from the gathering to activate mutual support in fulfilling each other's needs. The participants were guided through a process to clarify their needs on little cards, becoming super clear, before distributing the cards among the participants. Each participant picked one other person's card, essentially becoming an ambassador in fulfilling that persons’ needs. Some needs were instantly being fulfilled, and golden connections made. Some cards are still traveling around, up to this day, bringing magic to people’s lives. This has been a powerful example of how we can support each other, if we have a safe space to express our needs, and feel personally connected to a like-minded collective. This is an essential element that Gaianet wants to bring, and we feel this format wants to be further developed, both offline and online. Stay tuned!
Upon reflecting on the experience, we feel that the Gathering of Tribes has been a massive catalyser for the regenerative movement and for Gaianet as well. For many, Gaianet and a New Earth has become REAL in these 5 days.
The Gaianet Camp was a transformative, and healing experience. People received connection, love, authenticity, truth, transparency, shared humanness, clusterfucks of synchronicity, intimacy and aliveness. A place to be truly ourselves, a feeling of coming home, finding FAMILY, and finding power in knowing that we are not alone in this crazy world.
In the aftermath of the Gathering of Tribes, people are keenly becoming more intimately involved in the creation of Gaianet and a New Earth. Collaborations are being solidified, a true soul family business is forming. And this gathering has made one thing very clear: we need more physical spaces to come together. To live, breathe and expand the New Earth frequency.
All in due time. In the meantime, we nourish this frequency inside our hearts and expand it wherever we come.
This experience has built TRUST in all of us.
Trust in each other.
Trust that a New Earth is possible.
Trust that a New Earth is already here.
Trust that we are not alone on this journey.
Trust that there are many brothers and sisters out there on the same path, with magical superpowers, already bringing their love in action, and always there to support us.
We are in this together.
Let’s grow this beautiful New Earth!
