How you can help...
As autumn turns to winter and the skies get darker, we continue to be reminded of the many crises we face as a civilisation that desperately calls for deep healing and transformation. At Gaianet, we are working to answer these calls by rebuilding the Earth as a Garden of Eden where:
love is the driving force,
all of humanity lives its purpose in perfect harmony with nature and other beings, and
resources are shared in abundance for all.
Gaianet is holding space for a global community in which purpose-driven individuals connect to co-create this Garden of Eden: starting with the first City of Light in Alta Paradiso, Brazil.
How you can help
As the Gaianet organisation evolves, new opportunities continue to emerge for beautiful beings to come on board and contribute their unique perspectives and gifts to our mission.
We recently spent some valuable time redefining our Tech Circle, in which we determined that the circle's purpose is to map the ecosystem of projects, platforms, Get in touch and technologies that already exist and could partner with Gaianet, in some capacity, to build the first City of Light. The Tech Circle's job is to draw connections between our multi-dimensional needs and the resources that are out there.
Within this, two missing roles have emerged:
The Mindreader is a copywriter who will extract information from contributors within and outside the Tech Circle, and translate this into documentation for various stakeholders. 8+ hours per week.
The Summarizer is a tech expert or enthusiast who will consume large amounts of documentation, video and audio data from many different projects, and summarise it for the everyday reader, creating understandable summaries and usable data. 8+ hours per week.
Get in touch if either of these roles is calling out to you.
Meanwhile, in the Communication Circle, we're searching for:
A Social Media Strategist to help us get Gaianet out into the world and determine the correct channels to do so. 5+ hours per week.
A Journalist to give voice to our community, illuminating the ins and outs of Gaianet, where it has come from, and where it is going - within the community and especially to the outside world where it most needs to be heard. The New Earth journalist will be at the frontline of breaking news, sharing what is unfolding with full honesty and integrity. 5+ hours per week.
If one of these sounds like you, drop us a message.
N.B. All positions at Gaianet are currently pro-bono. We contribute time and energy to this project because we're fired up by Gaianet's mission and vision, and love working within a team of open-hearted professionals.
Project Spotlight
We recently came across the Auravana Project, which has essentially been collecting the data we need to build a City of Light for the last 9 years. We are absolutely blown away by the wisdom and pioneering knowledge behind this project. Quoted from their website,
The Auravana project is composed of open-source working groups that develop and publish the societal standard for a global community-type society. These working groups create documents that provide requirements, specifications, and reasoning that can be used consistently at the societal level for mutual human fulfillment. The project exists to open source and free-share the standard for global societal co-operation. We are developing the societal standard for a highly automated, moneyless (tradeless) society oriented toward human fulfillment and ecological sustainability.
Exciting, huh? Send us an email if you want to know more about the crossovers between Gaianet and Auravana, and how you could contribute in some way.
