  • An unprecedented amount of change, novelty, and complexity is unfolding within the holosphere of humanity on our beautiful blue and green spinning spaceship flying through the universe at a speed of 67,000 mph. Due to a concatenation of various factors, many humans are perceiving this time of great turning to be filled with chaos, absurdity, discord, tumult, excruciating lucidity, and disorder.

This interpretation of reality is not technically incorrect, either. The current moment in human culture is indeed filled with all these experiences. Yet, at the same time, great innovation, hope, beauty, inspiration, integrity, and harmony also exist. Perhaps these more positive and energizing experiences, activities, values, and visions are not being felt, witnessed or perceived to an equal degree or as significantly and profoundly by some humans. Nonetheless, there is a growing contingent of syntropic forces and organizations emerging from the ether of consciousness here on our mother planet.

The purpose of this article and page is to offer an introduction to an interconnected web of gaian allies who are actively aligning themselves with the restoration, regeneration, transformation, and transcendent metamorphosis of a new earth paradigm, characterized by more symbiotic and synergistic human cultures.

  • The collection of mission-aligned projects who support the transformation of humanity into a paradigm of unity and regeneration.

Projects cover the entire spectrum from conscious communities to regenerative solutions for food and water, housing, education, distributed governance, value exchange, technology, wellbeing, arts, culture, infrastructure and self-actualization.

  • Below you will find a database and map of the key players within this movement, as we have been able to uncover so far. The mapping can offer inspiration as well as clarity about how this movement is materializing. In addition, it can offer a vision for how further coherence can grow to expand this wave of promise even more into the heart of society. And lastly, it can become the beginning of a practical guide for how you and I or anyone else can connect and become involved in the co-creation of this movement.

We invite you to join in the construction of this mutual open-source network. The form below (Scroll down to ‘Add a project to the ecosystem’) contains prompts and questions about your organization if you desire your organization’s information to be included in the project and mapping.

At the bottom of this page we have summarized different ways ‘How to support the ecosystem’.

  • In March 2020, Gaianet’s journey started with the mission “to build and nurture a global community where purpose-driven individuals connect to co-create, share and receive the resources they need for projects that shape a harmonized world for all life on earth”. Since then, we have been amazed by the heart touching initiatives that are already happening. It is really mind blowing to realise what is currently being created all over the world. This ecosystem mapping is a first and important step, we believe, in giving visibility and self-awareness to what is emerging. We feel honoured to play a role in bringing these people and initiatives together. And look forward to everything that can emerge from that. We are probably not the only ones doing this currently, as this planetary shift is initiated all over the globe. We look forward to meeting similar initiatives, so that we can start weaving the web together. Until then, let's do our best from where we are now. Using the tools and resources we have.

To facilitate the thriving of this ecosystem, we intend to:

    • Tell the story of the emergence of this ecosystem. Check out our Stories page and explore the wonderful magazine of our fellow co-creators at The Weave.

    • Elaborate this database and develop an interactive ecosystem map in order to stimulate interactions and collaborations.

    • Host workshops & events for the organisations in the ecosystem to connect and co-create.

    • Attract (financial) abundance for the individual organisations and the collective as a whole

    • Align with similar initiatives and/or tool development that can further improve collaboration and resource exchange within the emerging ecosystem.

Ecosystem Gallery

Below we present the most basic version of Gaianet’s open source database with resonant projects & organizations. Use the Filter, Sort and Search function to navigate. Click here for a full screen version.

NEW: Visit the Gaianet Trove page for a more intelligent view on the ecosystem (still in development - it might be less intelligent then you expect, yet).

Specifically interested in physical projects?

We have a dedicated gallery view of physical projects, showcasing places where the new paradigm is coming to life through events and regenerative living environments (villages & communities).

Partner Ecosystems

ReFiDAO

Gaianet has teamed up with ReFiDAO to present a wider ecosystem of projects, in this case working towards the regeneration of our planet - with an emphasis on the role of finance. Click the button below to see a dedicated page to this project with over 700 categorized projects and growing.

Collaborative Tech Alliance (CTA)

Gaianet is in contact with several members of the Collaborative Tech Alliance (CTA) and got their database through Vincent Arena of Catalist. This database holds over 300 projects that are working on technology that aims to improve collaboration for humanity.

New Earth Development (NED)

New Earth Development (NED) is an organization in the Gaianet database, working specifically on New Earth real estate development. They have made their overview of more than 300 nodes available, consisting of physical locations under development, service providers and amenities.

Tijn Tjoelker

Tijn is trained as an earth scientist, interdisciplinary systems thinker and sustainability leader. Working on socio-ecological regeneration, systems innovation and nature-based solutions. He’s launched the Substack ‘The Mycelium’, is a leading regenerative voice on LinkedIn and offers his own curated database.

Murmurations

Murmurations has ‘cracked the code’ when it comes down to collective mapping and interoperability issues, by standardizing data entry and limiting its depth of data to public data only. It’s an impressive overview of tens of thousands of nodes in the field of ecovillages, transition towns, ethical organizations and alternative currencies.

A deeper look into the projects

In the video below, Gaianet co-founder Daan shares a peek into some of the most inspiring projects in the network (on Helen Fisher’s We Are Carbon podcast; full episode available here).

For more in-depth information about some of Gaianet’s favorite projects, watch the project showcase presentation videos on Gaianet’s Vimeo channel.

Need help finding the right projects?

Request a call with the Gaianet Support Line. The Support Line's purpose is to connect you with the tools/knowledge/people you need right now. Basically a "New Earth call centre". If you are looking for a specific solution (of any kind), stop doing it alone and activate the network to support you.

How to support the ecosystem

Do you feel called to support the mission? There are several ways to do so.

  • Add your project to the database using the button ‘Add a project to the ecosystem’ on this page.

  • Support with tooling development, either as as a volunteering professional, with financial support, or otherwise.

  • Share your feedback or interest to collaborate on the Ecosystem Mapping tool by using the email address in the footer of this page.

  • Make a financial contribution to nourish Gaianet’s development of open source ecosystem navigation tools, and/or to support the wider Gaianet organisation. If you have received value through Gaianet’s open source solutions, created with love by volunteers, we invite you to pay it forward and enable Gaianet to keep growing and developing new solutions.
